Come meet Chaunsa and Sindhri!

“Organized by the Export Promotion Bureau of Pakistan in collaboration with the High Commission for Pakistan Kuala Lumpur, the Pakistan Mangoes Exhibition will be held on June 24-25 spread over several locations in the Klang Valley (for the convenience of the public), and on June 27-28 in Penang” says Pakistan Commercial Counsellor Mr Athar Jamal Abro.

“Five tons of Pakistan mangoes, Chaunsa and Sindhri, will be imported to be given away to the public, with compliments of the Pakistan’s Export Promotion Bureau. The objective is to introduce and familiarize Malaysian public with the distinct look and feel, flavor and taste of these 2 species of Pakistan mangoes.”

“Come Saturday June 24, the official launch will be at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur (10.45am-12.00pm) open to all fresh fruit importers and exporters, wholesalers and traders; while mango lovers are invited to visit the exhibition from 12pm to 4.00pm at the same venue. Mango lovers could also visit Tops Supermarket, KLCC between 11am-9.00pm”, says Mr Athar.

“Sunday June 25, Pakistan mangoes will be exhibited at 4 locations: Carrefour Supermarket Subang Jaya; Jaya Jusco Supermarket MidValley Megamall, Bangsar; Sungei Wang Plaza (Concourse Level), Jalan Bukit Bintang or at Tops Supermarket KLCC 11am-9pm.”

“In Penang, the mangoes exhibition will be held on June 27-28 at Berjaya Georgetown Hotel and at the One Stop Midlands Park Complex, Tops Supermarket.”

“Most may have probably eaten them before. Through this exhibition, they would now have the opportunity learn more about these mangoes, including their names, besides eating all they want. Numerous ways of eating mangoes? Go find out at the exhibition”, quips Mr Athar.
