My technical analysis knowledge began in 1989.
I now believe my views must be shared through a regular series of technical analysis forums and discussions so that Malaysians would be more in touch with investment sentiment measured by technical charting. Perhaps if I started this series much earlier, many may not have lost so much money.
Amidst the gloom and doom when the KLCI went down to 261.33 (1 Sept 1998), there was much talk that the index would even go below 200. Instead, we saw a big bounce upward to 473.49.
However, if the investing public adopted the approach of Dr Marc Faber (author of The Gloom, Doom and Boom report), less people would have lost vast amounts of money.
